EXTRAFLEX Е is a multilayer barrier sausage casing with enhanced elasticity. It can be formed with the net on.
Application
The EXTRAFLEX E casing is intended for the production, transportation, storage and sale of:
cooked sausages and hams;
blood and liver sausages, and spreads;
brawns, aspic and jellied products;
spreads;
processed cheeses;
food animal fats, margarines;
other food products not subjected to smoking.
The casing can be formed with the net on.
Сomposition
The EXTRAFLEX Е casing is made from polyamide, polyolefin and adhesive (modified polyethylene).
Advantages
Mechanical strength makes it possible to mold the chubs with the use of high-capacity automatic or semi-automatic clippers at high molding rates.
High elasticity provides for significant overstuffing relative to the nominal diameter. This reduces the consumption of casing per ton of finished products in comparison with the traditional types of multilayer casings.
Low permeability to oxygen and water vapor is ensured by a thoroughly selected combination of polymers and offers:
zero losses during the thermal processing and storage of meat and sausage products;
microbiological stability of the products during storage;
retardation of the oxidation processes that cause rancidification of fats and changes in the natural color of the meat product;
excellent selling appearance (no wrinkles) of the finished products throughout the shelf life.
Physiological safety - the casing is proof to microbiological damage, because the materials used for its production are inert to the action of bacteria and mold fungi. This facilitates the storage of casings and improves the hygienic characteristics, both of the casing itself, and of the sausage production environment.
